Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Data

At St Thomas', we are proud of the strong start our children make in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our recent EYFS results show that children are achieving a good level of development from their individual starting points. This is on going upward trend where our children achieve at least in line wit national averages when leaving our foundation stage. 

Year 1 Phonics Screening Check Data

At St Thomas, our phonics scheme and new fluency approach to early reading, supports children to develop early reading skills. Our Year 1 Phonics Screening Check results show that children make good progress in learning to read confidently and accurately and this will continue to improve in the future, as we further embed our phonics scheme and our reading fluency approach. There has been a 3 year upward trend in phonics attainment data, and this will continue to rise. 

Year 4 Multiplication Screening Check (MTC) Data. 

At St Thomas, we are incredibly proud of our MTC data, this gives our children excellent foundations in maths for upper Key Stage 2. The teaching of timetables and multiplication is embedded through the curriculum right from the early foundations of learning. This will continues to be further strengthened with out ongoing development of the Mastering of Number approach throughout the school. 

Year 6 SATs Data

At St Thomas' , we are proud of the progress and achievements of our Year 6 children since joining our school. Our SATs results demonstrate the strong foundation in learning, confidence, and resilience that our children develop throughout their time at the academy.
