PSA
Our Amazing PSA!
Welcome to St Thomas’ Parent-Staff Association. As parents of pupils attending the school, you are automatically members of the PSA. We have one objective – to enhance the education of all of our pupils.
We do this by:
- Raising funds for school projects outside the normal school budget.
- Organising social functions, trips and supporting school activities as required in order to develop the relationship between parents and school.
- Engaging in activities which support the school, the children, their families and the wider community.
Upcoming Events for 2026/2027
These dates are currently being finalised and will be published soon! We have lots of exciting plans for the year ahead and some new ideas too.....
Funds raised have been used in so many ways to enrich the learning of our children. Some of these include:
- A complete overhaul of the school library - new furniture and lots and lots of new books at the request of the children!
- Trophies and medals for our sporting heroes
- A Christmas Panto in school
- Year Six Leavers Books
- Easter eggs
- Support to school events for the children - for example Young Voices.
- Playground equipment
- Enhancing our 'Reading Hut' on the playground

We need YOU!
Each year, the PSA always requires additional volunteers to replace parents whose sons/daughters are leaving the school or, are not currently able to offer support due to other commitments. Meetings are held throughout the year and parents/carers are advised of the dates via the PSA Facebook page and the schools Dojo communication.
Anyone can join and support the school: Parents, Grandparetns, Older siblings, Aunts, Uncles.....
If you would like to join us on the committee or you are able to spare a couple of hours to help at an event, please email the school office - office@stthomascofeacademy.org or speak to any member of staff and they will point you in the right direction.
