Hello everyone, and a very warm welcome to our Year 6 class page!

This is such an exciting year, filled with new challenges, opportunities, and memories to be made. Year 6 is a special time—it’s the final step in primary school, and together we’ll be working hard, growing in confidence, and preparing for the exciting journey ahead into secondary school.

On this page, you’ll find updates about our learning, key dates, class news, and ways to support your child at home. We’ll also be celebrating achievements and sharing some of the wonderful things happening in our classroom.

School Day Timings

Autumn 1 Class Timetable

Key information for Year 6:

• PE Days: Children should wear PE kit to school on Wednesday and Thursday. Hair must be tied up and no jewellery. 
• Homework: Homework will be handed out every Friday and should be returned the following Thursday. 
• Reading: Please ensure your child reads and has their diary signed at least 3 times a week. 
• Communication: If you have any queries, please message us via Class Dojo.
