A very warm welcome back to Year 4!
We hope everyone had a wonderful half-term break and is ready for the exciting learning ahead in Autumn 2. This half-term, we’ll be building on all the great progress made so far, continuing to grow in confidence, take on new challenges, and explore even more fascinating topics together.

This year, we will be:

📚 Building on our reading, writing, and maths skills

🌍 Exploring fascinating history, geography, and science topics

🎨 Getting creative with art, design, and music

🤝 Working together as a team, supporting and encouraging one another

We want every child to feel happy, confident, and ready to shine. Our classroom is a place where curiosity is celebrated, mistakes are seen as steps to learning, and everyone’s voice matters.

We’re looking forward to a wonderful year full of learning, laughter, and achievement. Together, let’s make Year 4 a year to remember!

School Day Timings

Autumn 2 - Class Timetable

Key Information for year 4

PE – Year 4 PE days will be Tuesday and Friday this half-term. Please ensure children come to school wearing their PE kit, with long hair tied up and no jewellery.

Homework – Homework will be given out on Fridays and should be returned the following Friday.

Reading – Please ensure your child reads and has their diary signed 3–5 times a week.
