Hello and a big warm welcome to our Year 3 class page!

We’re so excited to start this new chapter of learning, growing, and discovering together. Year 3 is such a special time – full of new adventures, fresh challenges, and plenty of fun along the way.

On this page, you’ll find updates about what we’re learning, important dates to remember, and ways you can support your child at home. 

We believe learning works best when we’re a team – children, parents, and teachers working together. So please do pop back often, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or ideas.

School Day Timings:

Key Information for Year 3:

PE days are Tuesday (Indoor) and Wednesday (Outdoor) for this half-term. Please ensure children come into school wearing appropriate PE kit, hair tied back and jewellery removed. 

Homework will be sent out on a Friday and due back the following Thursday. Spelling tests will take place on Friday mornings.

Please encourage your child to read at home and sign their diary at least 3–5 times a week.
